Scott Kalitta was killed when his car crashed into the barriers at the end of a pass during qualifying for the 39th NHRA Supernationals at Englishtown, NJ. The image below was taken during the burnout phase of this pass. Scott Kalitta February 18th 1962 to June 21st 2008. R.I.P.
